Jewellery Jobs in India
The jewellery industry in India is booming at a high speed with whooping demands in domestic and exports market. Indian jewellery is becoming a rage and is adding sparkle to the economy. Gems and jewellery export is second major foreign exchange earner in country. As more and more money is flowing in the industry, a number of professionals are entering jewellery field.
Jewelry jobs in India are rising as new avenues for training and development are opening. A number of institutions in India are offering training in gemology, jewelry designing and production. National institute of fashion technology, India school of jewelry designing, arch gemology and jewelry institute, Indian institute of gemology and ENSIGN are some of country’s leading institutes offering several diploma, degree and training courses across India to impart training professionals for scintillating career.
Gemologists require high skills to identify and grade diamonds, precious stones and semi precious stones. As jewelry export is increasing, a number of national and international companies are entering in this field to set new career and they require trained professionals to keep up with the pace of growing international market.
A trained gemologist or jewelry designer can find attractive jobs in India or abroad. A designer should be creative to make latest designs which are preferred by young generation for daily wear and should also be a master in traditional jewelry which is catered for weddings and big functions. Now day’s gems are not only appreciated for their beauty and ornamental value but have increasingly come in demand for their healing powers. Dozens of people are going for feng shui prescribed stones. A professional with complete knowledge of vasstu and gems with proper scientific operations will get high classed jobs in branded jewelry shops selling stones according to raashi.
Even gemologists have a opening in corporate companies which are going traditional and appointing only those people in their companies who according to gemology are positive for their success. So these companies require trained gemologists who can read applicants kundli and decide whether they are beneficial or not.
